Everything in Moderation
January is coming to an end. And you know what that means! DRY January is also coming to an end. And for all five of you that haven’t given up on your 2018 resolutions, I salute you.
Personally I have major FOMO – so all it takes is one phone call from a friend asking to go grab dinner or drinks and, of course, I cave. ( I can’t be the only one with this problem ) So while i don’t go drink that often, or drink heavily, it still takes some intentionality to say no to a happy hour with a friend.
Strictly speaking on the subject of alcohol, I’m trying not to keep it in my house. That way I’m forming better habits, by not drinking as much and cutting down the cost of my Target trips. But everyone once in a while, one glass of wine (while you’re watching The Bachelor) sounds real nice. And let’s be honest, the stuff that comes in those single serve plastic cups in the grocery store aisle is NOT wine… which always leads back to grabbing a bottle of your favorite because you know it tastes good.
So I have found the perfect solution! Standard Wine is wine company whose main focus is bringing quality back to the smaller bottle formats. And let me tell you – it is delicious! Each cute little bottle is 6.3 oz – so you truly are drinking in moderation.
When you order from Standard, you get 6 signature bottles of the Standard red or their Chardonnay – you can also mix it up and get three of each. My favorite part? The bottle. It’s sleek and minimal and so dang cute! Plus it is specifically designed for preservation and flavor. It’s 100% recyclable but who wants to throw these things away?
In my opinion, Standard Wine is a great way to stick to your health goals for the rest of the 11 months of the year and still indulge responsibly without falling off the wagon. Whether your goals are to drink less or cut back on calories, Standard Wine might be a great option for you.
